This is a limited, experimental micro-lot from our longtime friend and collaborator Moises Hidardo Hernandez in Mercedes, Ocotepeque, Honduras. If you’ve been with us for a few years, you may remember a special fermentation trial we ran together. Barolo is a honey-processed coffee inoculated with Barolo wine yeast for a wild, rich, spiced result.
The cup?
Silky and smooth with notes of clove, milk chocolate, and nougat. It’s like sipping a winter dessert by the fire.
