RIVER OF BEES
From the misty forests of Oaxaca’s Sierra Sur, Yogondoy brings together smallholder grown Pluma coffee and an extended fermentation wet process. The result is honey sweet, with a silky flow that lives up to the community’s Zapotec name: River of Bees.
KAMWANGI PEABERRY
This peaberry selection comes from the New Ngariama Cooperative on the slopes of Mount Kenya. A traditional Kenyan double washed process gives the cup lively definition, while a medium light roast keeps everything sweet, silky, and in motion.
GONDO AB
Gondo came ready to make some noise. Grown along the Aberdare slopes of Mathioya in West Murang’a, this double washed lot brings serious clarity to an absolutely loaded cup. Ripe blackberry & black currant set the bassline, red grapefruit and pineapple light up the top end.
-Merch Drop-
If you didn’t know, Chromatic Coffee hand stamps each and every bag of coffee sold, front and back. The Chromatic Plate is there for it all and its legacy deserves a spotlight
DOUBLE FERMENT WET PROCESS
We find blackberry and juicy orange, followed by figs, raisin, and dark fruit. The profile settles into black tea, citrus, and chocolate. There is a wonderful tension here between fresh fruit and dried fruit, brightness and depth, clarity and richness.
