THIS. This is a natural mutation of the Red Bourbon cultivar we so highly revere from El Salvador and occurred naturally on the Rodriguez family's farms. 

The juicy, dense, heavy (and rare!) Elefante cherry delivers four times the juice of the average coffee cherry, and the seed has a big personality as well. This year’s crop has a double identity, with notes of the fruit of the flashy, bold, tropical passion flower–sweet, tart, and unmistakable–and also the humble, simple, and yet equally intoxicating honeysuckle.  


May this be a year to remember (but not in the same sense as the last two years)! May it be bold and flashy, but predominantly sweet, and full of simple yet thrilling joys! Happy 2022.
